Our Process

From complexity to forward motion.

Every engagement is shaped around the real challenge. The method stays consistent: listen deeply, make it clear, build what works, and put it in motion.

You don’t need to have the entire problem figured out. That’s where the process begins.
01 / Getting started

A clear beginning creates a stronger engagement.

01

Conversation

We listen for the challenge, the context, and what meaningful progress would look like.

02

Assessment

We identify needs, readiness, constraints, stakeholders, and the level of support required.

03

Recommendation

We recommend the right engagement model, priorities, scope, and sequence.

04

Proposal

You receive clear outcomes, deliverables, timing, responsibilities, and investment.

05

Kickoff

We align the team, establish the working cadence, and put the first actions in motion.

02 / The method

Four moves. One commitment: useful progress.

01

Discover
Listen deeply.

We get beneath the brief to understand the organization, people, goals, history, constraints, and the real challenge behind the visible symptoms.

Stakeholder voicesCurrent-state reviewRoot-cause insight
02

Define
Make it clear.

We translate complexity into shared priorities, a practical scope, clear ownership, meaningful measures, and a roadmap everyone can act on.

Success definedPriorities alignedRoadmap approved
03

Design
Build what works.

We create the strategy, system, experience, tools, or leadership solution required—testing assumptions and making decisions visible along the way.

Concepts createdSystems builtDecisions made
04

Deliver
Move forward.

We launch the work, support implementation, measure what matters, transfer knowledge, and strengthen the internal capacity needed to sustain it.

03 / The CRE8tive Process

Our method shapes the work. CRE8 keeps it moving.

Creativity needs room to discover what is possible. Progress needs enough structure to protect the outcome.

CRE8 is the project-management spine beneath our collaborative method: four stages, eight visible controls, and one shared view of the work. It gives every engagement a clear path without making the work rigid.

C

Clarify

Identify the real pressure or possibility, the outcome that matters, the people who must be involved, and the boundaries that make the work useful.

Clear challenge + starting scope

R

Roadmap

Turn clarity into phases, deliverables, owners, milestones, approval points, dependencies, and a working rhythm everyone can use.

Approved path forward

E

Execute

Build in reviewable increments, keep decisions and tradeoffs visible, surface risks early, and protect quality, trust, and momentum.

Useful work moving with control

8

Evaluate

Validate the result, transfer tools and knowledge, close the work cleanly, and identify what the next cycle can do better.

An outcome built to last

Eight controls.
One clear view.

Every CRE8 engagement keeps the same eight questions visible. Their depth scales to the size and risk of the work; the controls do not disappear.

01 / ScopeWhat is included, excluded, assumed, and dependent on others?
02 / DeliverablesWhat will be produced, in what form, and what makes it complete?
03 / TimingWhen must inputs, decisions, reviews, and delivery happen?
04 / InvestmentWhat level of effort and authorized investment does the work require?
05 / Roles + decisionsWho owns, contributes, reviews, and approves?
06 / Risks + complicationsWhat could disrupt the outcome, and how will we respond?
07 / Communication + approvalsWhat rhythm keeps progress, feedback, and tradeoffs visible?
08 / Change + completionHow will changes be authorized and handoff confirmed?

Clear enough to move. Flexible enough to create. Disciplined enough to deliver.

04 / Ways to work

The right level of support for the moment you’re in.

01 / Focused

Strategy Intensive

A concentrated engagement to diagnose the challenge, align decision-makers, and leave with a clear roadmap and immediate priorities.

Clarity • Alignment • Roadmap

02 / Hands-on

Transformation Sprint

A 6–12 week build to redesign a critical system, launch an initiative, develop a brand, or move a stalled priority forward.

Design • Build • Activate

03 / Ongoing

Embedded Partnership

Continuing strategic, creative, or operational capacity for organizations that need senior guidance and implementation support.

Advise • Lead • Deliver

Outputs designed to be used.

Strategic roadmapsProject & portfolio plansBrand systemsOperating proceduresOrganizational assessmentsLeadership plansImplementation toolsTraining & facilitationProgress dashboardsCampaigns & collateralDecision frameworksHandoff documentation

Deliverables are selected to fit the engagement. We do not create documents for the shelf; every output should support a decision, a behavior, or measurable forward movement.

05A defined completion, handoff, and next-step plan
08 / Questions

Before we begin.

Do we need to know exactly what service we need?

No. Many clients arrive with symptoms, pressure, or an opportunity—not a perfectly defined problem. The first part of our process helps determine what is actually needed.

Do you work with startups and established organizations?

Yes. We adapt the depth, pace, and structure to the maturity of the organization, the complexity of the work, and the capacity of the team.

Do you implement your recommendations?

Yes. We can advise, build, facilitate, manage implementation, or embed alongside your team. We believe strategy becomes valuable when it changes what happens next.

Can we combine consulting, design, and leadership support?

Absolutely. That intersection is one of the Collective’s strengths. Complex growth often requires work across strategy, communications, operations, and people.

How long does an engagement take?

Focused intensives may take days or a few weeks. Transformation sprints typically run 6–12 weeks. Embedded partnerships can continue monthly. Your proposal will define the recommended timeline.

How are engagements priced?

Pricing is based on scope, complexity, pace, and the level of implementation support. We provide a clear investment and payment schedule before kickoff.

Can you work with our existing team or vendors?

Yes. We regularly collaborate with internal leaders, staff, agencies, contractors, and community partners. Roles and decision rights are clarified at the beginning.

Bring us the pressure, the possibility, or the question you cannot shake. We’ll find the clearest place to begin.
